Each of the nine Indigenous Partners from across Canada maintains strong immersion and bilingual education programs and initiatives. Together with the UVIC Research Team, as NEȾOLṈEW̱ ‘one mind, one people’, these Partners exemplify the efforts taking place coast to coast in Canada to revive Indigenous languages, by both increasing awareness about Indigenous languages and sharing resources to support community-driven language revitalization efforts.
