This video is an outcome of the event “Exploring Innovative and Successful Adult Language Learning Methods in Canadian and US Indigenous Communities” held February 18-22, 2020 at the University of Victoria, on Songhees, Esquimalt, and W̱SÁNEĆ territories.
It highlights discussions by leading scholars and practitioners in Indigenous language revitalization, focusing on supporting Indigenous adults in becoming new speakers of their languages.
